Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field required, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job functions of a leaderhip role
  • General understanding and practical work experience within the Automotive Quality systems and processes
  • General understanding and working knowledge of inspection standards and checking fixtures
  • Thorough understanding of company products, trade terminology, Quality Management and control system and techniques, Manufacturing processess including material controls, work flow, schediling, kanban, machine operation and company policies as standards
  • Analytical skills
  • Ability to effectively facilitate problem solving and resolution
  • Ability to work with a dynamic team and demanding customer(s)
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work with multiple departments and prioritize activities
  • Ability to read instruction manuals, blue prints and specifications
  • Ability to plan, supervise and perform functions of assigned areas
  • Ability to maintain on call flexibility to control abnormal conditions
  • Ability to be flexible in a constantly changing production environment
  • Active listerner with effective leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to multi-task, handle diverity and provide Leadership through problem resoluction

KPI’s (Key Performance Area) / Job Requirements

  • Manage all aspects of Quality (QCI and QCE)
  • Acts as a window person for counterparts at customer and regional headquarters
  • Responsible for department personnel
  • Support and development of documentation to support customer and internal requirements
  • Analyses processes for continuous improvement and failure modes
  • negotiate appropriate quality levels with customers
  • Analyse processes for stability and capability
  • Maintain both supplier and customer quality standards
  • Report and presents quality issues
  • Interpret company policies to team members and enforces safety regulations
  • Responsible for overall quality team preformance
  • Performs quality audits
  • Primary contact for supplier, inernal and customers related issues
  • Develops and maintains documents such as PFMEA, MWC, Control Plans,etc
  • Build strong relationships with Customers, Suppliers, Production, Management and all team members
  • Analyses in-process defect, investigates root cause and develops countermeasures
  • Acquires and maintains required certification (IATF 16949)
